Rummage Sale
This spring the Presbyterian Women sponsored a rummage sale. Now it wasn't just your ordinary sale of a couple of items they had laying around the house. They collected items from many of the church members. The items included clothing for men, women and children; kitchen ware; books; toys; appliances, some of which need to be repaired before they could be sold; and many other items. Besides the items collected, the kitchen was staffed and lasagna and desserts were sold. This sale not only gave many people a chance to buy very good previously owned items at a good price, but raised several hundreds of dollars that went right back into the community. This event is held twice a year and you are invited to donate items you have and/or to shop for items you are looking for. As to the dates of the upcoming sales, watch this page for dates.
