Share
the Harvest
On 12, 13, 18, and 19 September, we helped needy families with Share the
Harvest. Just what did we do? Well this year 629 volunteers gave about 30 tons of
food
to 1,322 families (5,268 people) To see more of what went on, click

Softball
On May 3, we had our first game. Well almost. There was some confusion as to
when, where, and if we were going to play. Only players from First Presbyterian
Church and Unitarian Universalist Society of Ogden were there. While there weren't
enough players for a full game, there were enough to toss the ball and hit a few.
Everyone there had a fun time our pictures show. |

Blood Drive
On 27 April we had a Blood Drive with Columbia Ogden Regional Medial Center.
They were able to draw 26 pints from us. If our missionaries who had been in
Africa this year and last were to give, we would have had 5 more pints. They'll just
have to wait until next time. This was such a success, we are going to try and have
this twice a year. For more pictures (no blood), click here. |

Rummage Sale
This spring the Presbyterian Women sponsored a rummage sale. Now it wasn't
just your ordinary sale of a couple of items they had laying around the house. They
collected items from many of the church members. The items included clothing for
men, women and children; kitchen ware; books; toys; appliances, some of which need to be
repaired before they could be sold; and many other items. Besides the items
collected, the kitchen was staffed and lasagna and desserts were sold. For more
information and pictures, click here |
